Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g whole milk yogurt
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • some orange zest
  • 1 pinch(s) cinnamon powder
  • 6 dates, fresh or dried
  • 2 sprigs of mint or lemon balm

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix the yogurt with milk and honey well. Season with orange peel and cinnamon. Halve the dates, removing the stones if desired, then place them on a wooden skewer. Divide the yogurt between two glasses, place a skewer in each, and serve garnished with mint. Tip: Fresh dates come to us year-round, mostly from Israel. They are harvested unripe and brought to Europe frozen. Fresh dates are rich in easily digestible sugar, protein, and minerals such as calcium and phosphorus. With fresh dates, you can peel off the sometimes slightly hard skin. Per serving: 9 g fat, 10 g protein, 42 g carbohydrates, 3 g fiber.
