Horseradish Puree
The perfect horseradish puree recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 root Horseradish
- 1 cups Buttermilk [0.5 L]
- 1 cups Sour cream or Sour cream
- 100 g Butter
- 100 g Parsnips
- 100 g Parsley root
- Salt, nutmeg, lemon juice, pepper, sugar to taste
- Peel and chop the horseradish, parsnips and parsley root
- Simmer in salted water for about 1 hour
- Pour off (collect the broth) and puree
- Back in the saucepan, add the sour cream and the buttermilk and simmer for another 10 minutes while stirring
- Dilute with part of the broth and season with nutmeg, sugar, salt, pepper and lemon juice
