Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g hot chili pepper(s), e.g. Habaneros
  • 1 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 50 ml fish sauce, more if needed
  • some herbs, mixed (8-herb mixture), dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Chop the chilies into small pieces; it’s best to wear gloves when doing this. Place the chopped chilies in a clean, empty disposable glass jar. Add the sambal oelek and herbs, then fill about three-quarters of the jar with fish sauce and mix everything together. Now add a little more fish sauce, if desired. The mixture should be slightly covered at the end to ensure it lasts longer.
