Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 rolls
  • 4 sausages, mild or hot
  • 2 onions
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 piece(s) herb butter
  • 1 pack of bacon cubes
  • 100 g sauerkraut
  • 4 tbsp barbecue sauce to taste
  • ½ tbsp black pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

the Bell-Dog always goes

Sauté the onions, garlic, and bacon cubes in a pan with the herb butter until translucent. Season with pepper, add the sauerkraut, and sauté thoroughly. Grill the sausages directly over the grill and lightly crisp the buns in indirect heat. Spread some of the sauerkraut mixture on the bottom of the bun, then top with the salsicca, cut in half. Drizzle with some BBQ sauce and serve.
