Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g minced beef, pork or turkey
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp whiskey
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • nutmeg
  • some parsley
  • e.g. breadcrumbs
  • 4 slice(s) cheese , (sliced ​​cheese)
  • 4 rolls (burger buns)
  • Vegetables and salad for topping
  • mayonnaise
  • ketchup

Instructions

BBQ burger with whiskey

Place the minced meat in a bowl and finely grate the small onion. Mash the garlic clove, chop the parsley, and add both to the bowl. Add the whiskey and Worcestershire sauce and knead the meat mixture thoroughly. Season to taste and knead again thoroughly. If desired, add breadcrumbs to make the mixture a little firmer. Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions, shape them into round balls, and press them between two layers of baking paper to form flat patties. Then place them on the grill and grill for a few minutes on each side until the patties are cooked to your desired doneness. Just before the second side is finished grilling, place a slice of sliced ​​cheese on each patty and let it melt. Place the patties on the prepared burger buns and top with as desired, e.g., onion rings, tomato slices, gherkins, and lettuce. Add ketchup and mayonnaise on top.
