Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pkt. pizza dough (refrigerated section)
  • e.g. sauce (hot dog sauce) or mustard
  • ketchup
  • 8 Vienna sausages
  • 1 pack of Gouda (200 g), grated
  • 2 gherkins
  • fried onions
  • 1 egg(s), beaten

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

quick and easy

Spread the pizza dough on a baking sheet and spread with hot dog sauce (or mustard) and ketchup. Place 4 wieners in the center, side by side and one on top of the other. Spread the cheese on the wieners. Chop the gherkins into small pieces and spread them on the cheese, along with the fried onions (amount to your taste). Cut the sides of the coated pizza dough into strips, then fold in the top and bottom sides and fold one strip of dough on each side, alternating them over the other, to create a “braided” pattern. Brush with a beaten egg. Now, depending on your preference, spread either cheese or fried onions on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 20 minutes.
