Ice Cold Watermelon with Feta – Summer Dream
The perfect ice cold watermelon with feta – summer dream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 0,25 Pc. Seedless watermelon
- 200 g Feta (real)
- 1 Pc. Lemon
- Lemon thyme sprigs
- Olive oil fine
- Toothpick
- Cut the chilled watermelon into 1 cm thick (not thicker, better thin) slices. Remove the shell. Then cut the slices into bite-sized pieces (2-3 cm long) and place them on a flat plate or platter.
- Cut the feta into 5 mm thick strips. Then also chop the strips into 1×2 cm pieces. Place these on top of the watermelon pieces.
- Gently drizzle with a little olive oil. Then spread lemon thyme leaves all over the top and spread some fine lemon zest zest on top. Serve with a couple of toothpicks. Make sure to keep it in a cool place until you are ready to serve! Simply unbelievably good – great!
