Summer Cold Bowl with Strawberries, Pancake Strips and Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients
 

For the pancakes

  • 200 g Flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 400 ml Milk
  • 100 ml Mineral water
  • Butter or margarine for frying

For the cold bowl

  • 1 packet Vanilla flavored cooking pudding powder
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 1 L Water
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Grated lemon peel
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1,2 L Orange juice
  • 750 g Fresh strawberry
  • Vanilla ice cream / chocolate ice cream balls
  • Melissa to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Put flour in a mixing bowl for the pancake strips. Beat egg, sugar, salt with milk and mineral water. Mix with the flour. Bake pancakes from the batter. Melt some butter or margarine in a pan. Spread a layer of dough evenly on the bottom of the pan. Bake the pancakes until golden brown on both sides. Cut the pancakes into fine strips and keep warm.
  • For the cold bowl, mix pudding powder with sugar and 6 tablespoons of water. Bring the remaining water with salt, lemon zest and vanilla sugar to a boil in a saucepan. Stir the mixed pudding powder into the water removed from the hob. and bring to the boil while stirring. Stir in orange juice. Cover the cold bowl and place it in the refrigerator.
  • Clean, rinse and halve the strawberries. Distribute the cold bowl in soup plates. Add the pancake strips and chocolate / vanilla ice cream. Garnish with strawberries and lemon balm and serve.
