Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of boiling water
  • 4 tea bags (peppermint tea)
  • 2 tsp, leveled cane sugar, brown or white sugar
  • 1 handful of mint, fresh
  • 2 tsp syrup (elderflower syrup)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • some ice cubes, if necessary

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

suitable for children

Pour boiling water over the tea bags and let them steep for about 10 minutes. Add the mint leaves and sugar and stir. Once the tea has cooled, add the remaining ingredients. Refrigerate the finished tea. Add ice cubes when serving. Tip: Make the ice cubes from peppermint tea to prevent the iced tea from becoming watered down.
