Indian pea soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup(s) water
  • 1 can peas (500 g)
  • ¾ liter chicken broth, clear
  • 1 tbsp curry
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp almonds, sliced
  • 3 tbsp raisins
  • 125 ml cream
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring the water to a boil with a little salt. Cook the peas for 8 minutes, then strain them through a sieve. Return the chicken stock to the pot and bring back to a boil. Season with curry, pepper, and sugar. Thicken with flour mixed with cold water. Add the flaked almonds and the washed raisins. Let everything simmer for 10 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat, stir in the cream, and season to taste.
