Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 piece(s) ginger (approx. 5 cm)
  • 2 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • 2 tsp coriander, ground
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 600 g prawns, peeled, cooked
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • Salt
  • 1 small bunch of coriander
  • pepper, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

very simple and delicious

Peel and finely chop the onion, garlic, and ginger. Fry in a pan with hot oil for a few minutes. Then add the spices and fry for another 1-2 minutes until the spices release their aroma. Add the shrimp and coconut milk to the pan, season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 2-3 minutes. Meanwhile, wash the fresh cilantro and pat dry. Set aside a few sprigs for garnish and finely chop the rest. Transfer the shrimp to a serving dish and sprinkle with the chopped cilantro. Garnish with the cilantro sprigs and serve immediately. If you don’t like fresh cilantro, you can omit it, as it always has a slightly musty taste.
