Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 large bell peppers, various colors
- 30 olives, black
- Olive oil, good
- 2 small chili peppers, whole, dried
- Salt
- garlic powder
Instructions

Deseed the peppers and slice into thin strips. Halve each pitted olive. Heat a pan and add olive oil so that the bottom is completely covered. Add the peppers to the pan and season with garlic powder and salt. Add the chili peppers. Sauté on a very low heat for at least half an hour with the lid on the pan. Stir occasionally. Finally, add the olives to the pan and sauté for about half an hour longer. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. The dish can be eaten lukewarm or cold and tastes best with fresh bread. Tip: Cover the dish with foil and let stand for a day. It is best to keep it in the refrigerator.
