Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g wheat flour
- 250 g wholemeal flour
- 100 g oat flakes or oat bran
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 25 g butter
- 500 ml buttermilk
- Fat and flour for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan assisted). Mix the ingredients thoroughly to form a dough. Form a loaf approximately 8 cm high and cut a cross in the center. Place in a greased and floured baking pan. Bake for approximately 30 minutes. It’s done when it sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom. Place on a wire rack to cool and cover with a kitchen towel.
