Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g minced beef
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 3 tsp mustard
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • arugula
  • 6 tbsp, heaped mayonnaise
  • Milk
  • lemon(s)
  • 8 rolls, dark
  • Balsamic cream
  • Gorgonzola
  • olive oil
  • Herbs, Italian

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 10 hours

Season the ground beef, egg, mustard, and breadcrumbs with salt and pepper, mix, and then form into patties. Cut the zucchini and peppers into pieces, but not too thinly. Season with garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Cook at 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) top/bottom heat until al dente. It’s best to do this the day before and refrigerate overnight. Mix the mayonnaise with garlic, lemon, salt, and pepper. Add milk to the desired consistency. Brown the meat and briefly warm the rolls in the oven. Spoon the sauce onto the rolls, followed by arugula, meat, antipasti, balsamic vinegar, and Gorgonzola, as desired. Serve with a portion of French fries.
