Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g tomatoes, pureed
- salt and pepper
- chili powder
- Herbs, Italian or herbs of your choice
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 12 Maultaschen
- ½ bell pepper(s), yellow
- ½ bell pepper(s), red
- ½ zucchini
- Parmesan
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
For the sauce, combine the tomatoes with the herbs, salt, pepper, and chili. Add a pinch of sugar to reduce the acidity. Pour the sauce into a greased casserole dish. Then place the Maultaschen on top. Wash and trim the vegetables and cut into small cubes. Place the cubes on the Maultaschen, season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake the casserole at approximately 225°C (top/bottom heat) for 20-25 minutes.
