Italian spaghetti salad with mozzarella

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 5 garlic cloves, possibly 6
  • 15 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 3 balls of mozzarella
  • 1 jar black olives, pitted
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 10 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the spaghetti and drain. Crush 5-6 garlic cloves and heat with 15 tablespoons of olive oil. Pour over the cooked spaghetti and mix well. Let the garlic spaghetti cool completely. Halve the cherry tomatoes, slice the mozzarella, and mix with the olives into the cold spaghetti. Slice 1 bunch of basil. Mix together salt, pepper, and about 10 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and pour over the spaghetti. Mix everything well and let it stand for a while.
