a fiery hot snack

Using a sharp, pointed knife, slit the jalapeño pepper lengthwise, but do not cut through the pod. Use a small skewer or spoon to scrape out the seeds and membranes. Now stuff the jalapeño pepper with a few cilantro leaves, some ham, and some cheese, cut into the appropriate size, and wrap them in half a slice of bacon. Prepare the grill for indirect grilling and grill the poppers over medium heat until the bacon is crispy.
