Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • n. B. Jam of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 48 minutes

Shortcrust pastry biscuits

Knead the ingredients thoroughly using a mixer or a food processor fitted with a dough hook. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Shape the dough into sausages about 3 cm thick and cut them into 1 cm thick slices. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and make small indentations with your little finger. Whisk the egg and milk together and brush the slices with it. Place dollops of jam into the indentations. Bake at 200°C for about 8 minutes. Let the cookies cool completely after baking.
