Janina's wild salmon and imperial vegetables rice soup

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 liters of water
  • 2 tbsp chicken broth powder
  • 1 bag of rice, approx. 125 g
  • 50 ml whipped cream
  • 300 g vegetable mix (Kaisergemüse)
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg
  • some chives
  • some parsley
  • 1 pinch(s) curry powder
  • 3 pinches of pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 1 wild salmon fillet(s), frozen

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Dissolve the chicken broth powder in the water. Boil the rice in the broth. Add the fried vegetables, cream, and seasonings, stirring occasionally. Cut the thawed fish into pieces and add it to the pot. Simmer the soup until the rice and fish are tender.
