Jasmin's fine pea soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g ham (Katen-), mildly smoked, finely diced
  • 750 g peas, fine, preferably fresh, frozen is also fine
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Even my daughter likes it

Add the peas to the pot and bring to a boil with the chicken stock and milk. Let the soup simmer for about 3-4 minutes, then add the nutmeg and the ham. Season with salt. Purée thoroughly with a hand blender. If the soup is too thick, thin it with boiled milk. If you want it to cook even faster, you can replace the chicken stock with chicken stock cubes. We like this best with crème fraîche and baguette.
