Java Biscuits, Crispy, Airy, Nicely Crumbly and Delicious!
The perfect java biscuits, crispy, airy, nicely crumbly and delicious! recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Spelled flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 150 g Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Coffee powder
- 150 g Butter with yogurt, soft
- 1 Egg
- 125 g Coconut flakes
- 1 packet Mocha beans
- Couverture to taste
- Parchment paper
- Mix the spelled flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and coffee powder. Knead in the butter, egg and coconut flakes and put in the fridge for about 1 hour!
Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees celcius!
- Roll the dough into small balls. Depending on the size you want. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and press a little flat with a teaspoon!
- Bake in the oven in 2 portions for about 20 minutes. Let cool down.
- Melt the couverture according to the instructions and put a drop of it on each keck, then put a mocha bean on top! Finished!
