Crispy Biscuits

The perfect crispy biscuits recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dough:

  • 1 tsp Chia seeds
  • 50 ml Water
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Cinnamon
  • 225 g Flour
  • 0,5 tsp Baking powder
  • 40 g Butter

Also:

  • 150 g Crunchy cereal of your choice
  • 75 g Chocolate chips

Annotation:

  1. Chia seeds and water replace the egg, so can be replaced with 1 egg.

Preparation:

  1. Grind the chia seeds and mix with the water.
  2. Add sugar and salt and stir.
  3. Let the chia seeds soak for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, sugar and salt will dissolve.
  4. Now process all the dough ingredients into a crumbly kneading dough. Then work in the muesli and the chocolate chips.
  5. Line a baking sheet with baking paper (!) And spread the dough thinly on the surface of the half sheet and press it down. The result should be a cohesive surface without holes and an even height.
  6. Now bake the biscuit patties at 160 ° convection or 180 ° top / bottom heat for about 20-25 minutes.
  7. Take the tray out of the oven and immediately cut the large biscuit into squares or diamonds.
  8. Let the biscuits cool down and then enjoy unrestrainedly.
