Jelly Tarts – Jam Corners

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 115 g butter
  • 2 tsp water
  • 1 jar jam, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 40 minutes

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, then add the slightly melted butter and cream cheese. Mix until a crumbly dough forms. Then add 2-3 teaspoons of water to form a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for a few hours (or in the freezer for about 45 minutes). Then roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 3-4 mm. Cut out circles with a diameter of 5 cm and set them aside, dusted with flour. Place a teaspoon of jam in the center of the dough circles and then fold the sides over to form a triangle so that the jam does not leak out. Place the corners slightly apart on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 190°C (top/bottom heat) for 8-10 minutes on the middle shelf until golden brown.
