Jägerschnitzel with Spirelli Noodles and Tomato Sauce

The perfect jägerschnitzel with spirelli noodles and tomato sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Tomato sauce and pasta

  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp Clarified butter
  • 1 piece Big onion
  • 125 g Butter
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 200 g Tomato ketchup
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 500 g Spiral pasta
  1. Turn the slices of hunting sausage one after the other in flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs. Press the breading firmly so that it does not fall off during frying. Melt the clarified butter in the pan. Fry the sausage slices until they are brown and crispy.
  2. Cut the onion into fine cubes and sauté in hot butter in a saucepan until translucent. Add tomato paste and flour and sauté, stirring constantly. Top up with enough water to form a creamy consistency. Add the ketchup and bring to the boil briefly while stirring. Then simmer for about 15 minutes. Season the tomato mixture with a little salt, a little pepper and a pinch of sugar. Serve everything together with the Spirelli pasta cooked according to the package instructions in a deep plate.
