Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g sourdough (Hermann)
  • 10 g yeast, fresh
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 30 g sugar
  • some vanilla
  • some cardamom
  • 130 g milk
  • 60 g butter
  • 440 g flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • n. B. Sugar granules
  • n. B. chocolate flakes

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, crumble the yeast and mix it with the salt, sugar, vanilla, and cardamom until dissolved. Then add the milk and stir in the Hermann. Finally, add the butter and flour and knead with a hand mixer or a food processor until you have a smooth dough. Let it rise at room temperature until it has roughly doubled in size. Then, roll it out thickly and cut out bear shapes using a cookie cutter. Brush the bears with egg yolk and decorate them with sugar and chocolate shavings. Bake the bears in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 15 minutes.
