Juicy, fluffy Sunday rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 300 g wholemeal flour
  • 250 ml water, warm
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 50 g oat flakes, fine
  • 120 g natural yogurt
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

simple yeast dough with a trick

Pour the warm water into the mixing bowl. Dissolve the yeast in it. Add the flour, oats, yogurt, and a pinch of salt. Using the dough hook, knead into a dough. Knead vigorously with your hands until the dough is smooth. Form 6 rolls. Place the dough pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make a deep cut in the top with a knife and brush or sprinkle the surface with warm water. Let rise in a lukewarm oven for about 15 minutes or at room temperature for about 25 minutes. Sprinkle with water again and bake in a preheated oven at least 220 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes, until nicely browned.
