Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 packs of Maultasche(s)
- 2 cups of cream
- 1 pack of cooked ham
- ½ pack of cheese (e.g. Gouda), grated
- ½ onion(s)
- some margarine
- some flour
- salt and pepper
- garlic powder
- some vegetable broth, instant
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
with cream sauce and ham
Cut the Maultaschen into strips and place in a baking dish. Cut the ham into cubes or pieces and arrange them on top of the Maultaschen. Finely chop the onions. In a separate saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of margarine. Once melted, add the onions. Once the onions are golden brown, add 3 teaspoons of flour and stir well. Deglaze with cream. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and (important) vegetable stock powder. Pour the sauce over the Maultaschen and ham and finally sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven at 180°C until the cheese has melted and is lightly browned.
