Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 16 large mushrooms
- 4 Maultaschen
- 200 g Emmental cheese, grated
- 500 g tomatoes, pureed
- 3 tsp Italian herbs, dried
- 1 tsp garlic (flakes), dried
- 1 tsp Maggi
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Quarter the Maultaschen. Remove the stems from the mushrooms. Mix the passata with the herbs, garlic flakes, and Maggi. Place the mushrooms in a deep casserole dish and place a Maultaschen piece into each mushroom. Pour the tomatoes over the top and sprinkle with cheese. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake the mushrooms for 20 minutes at 200°C. Then remove the foil and bake for another 20 minutes. A salad goes perfectly with this dish.
