  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 100 g butter
  • 120 g cheese, grated, Emmental or similar
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 1 ½ tsp paprika powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 600 g Kaisergemüse (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower) fresh or frozen
  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 200 g cheese, grated, Emmental or similar
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

from a 26 cm springform pan, approx. 6 pieces

Make a dough from flour, baking powder, butter, grated cheese, sour cream, paprika powder, and salt and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then roll out the dough and place it in a greased 26cm springform pan, pulling up the edges slightly. Sauté the Kaisergemüse in a saucepan with a little water for about 7 minutes. Drain the cooking water and let the Kaisergemüse cool. In the meantime, whisk together the eggs and sour cream and season generously with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Dice the cooked ham and add it to the egg mixture with the grated cheese. Spread the vegetables on the dough and pour the egg mixture over it. Bake at 210°C (top/bottom heat) for about 35-45 minutes. Check with a wooden skewer whether the egg mixture is set. Let it cool slightly before cutting. If you make 6 pieces, one piece has 663 kcal.
