Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 125 g butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 200 g flour
- 250 ml milk
- Salt
- 3 egg whites to snow
- possibly parsley, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Soup garnish
Beat the butter and egg yolks until fluffy. Stir in the flour and milk a spoonful at a time, season with salt, and fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour into a greased pan and bake for about 20 minutes at 150°C (300°F) until golden brown. If desired, garnish with parsley. After baking, cut into diamond shapes and add to hot soup.
