Kale chips

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 small head of kale
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Clean the cabbage. Remove the thick stalks from the cabbage; this yields about two cabbage chips per leaf. Rub the cabbage leaves with olive oil and salt with your fingers. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 175°C for about 10 minutes, until the chips are crispy but not brown. Ventilate the kitchen well; you’ll still get the smell of cabbage. Tip: This also works well with carrot strips.
