Kangaroo steak with Saint Agur

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g steak(s) (kangaroo)
  • 100 g blue cheese, e.g. Saint Agur
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

80 degree method

Preheat the oven to 80°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack with a shallow casserole dish. Sear the steaks in a heavy pan with coconut oil, then place them in the warmed casserole dish. Sprinkle the cheese on top and let the steaks cook in the oven for about 20 minutes (medium/rare).
