Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 2 ½ kg smoked and boneless smoked pork loin
  • 700 ml sweet cream
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ bottles of chili sauce
  • 2 can/n mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 bell peppers, red
  • 5 onions

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the smoked pork into approximately 1 cm thick slices and arrange them in a fan-shaped baking dish. Mix the sweet cream, sour cream, sour cream, and chili sauce well. Peel the onions. Clean and chop the bell peppers (e.g. in a food processor) and fry them in a little hot oil. Add the mushroom slices and fry them. Now pour in the cream mixture. Season to taste and simmer a little longer (if you like spicy food, you can also add a little chili powder). Pour the sauce over the smoked pork slices and let it marinate overnight. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 180°C – 190°C for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Serve with a green salad and baguette or with any side dish you like.
