Kasseler in beer sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg smoked pork, raw
  • Pepper, white
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ pinch of clove powder
  • 2 onions
  • ½ liter of beer
  • 3 tsp gravy (instant)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Rub the smoked pork with pepper and place it in a frying pan. Sprinkle the meat with sugar and cloves, dice the onion, and add it. Place in a preheated oven at 200°C and roast for 45 minutes. After 30 minutes, add half of the beer. After 45 minutes, remove the meat, stir in the remaining beer and sauce powder, and simmer for 5 minutes.
