Kassler in Bread Dough

The perfect kassler in bread dough recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kilogram Kassel roast salmon
  • 1 kilogram For the bread ……
  • 410 g Wheat flour type 1050
  • 70 g Rye flour
  • 10 g Salt
  • 300 ml Water
  • 1,5 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1,5 tsp Dry yeast
  • 1 tsp Bread spice
  1. Put all the ingredients for the bread in the bread maker and start the ‘Dough’ program.
  2. After about 2 hours, remove the dough and roll it out on the floured work surface.
  3. Put the kasseler on top and knock it into the dough. Brush the edges with water and glue them together nicely.
  4. Sprinkle flour on the dough as desired.
  5. Let it rest for an hour in a warm place.
  6. Bake at 160 degrees for about 70 minutes.
  7. I serve red cabbage with it ….. enjoy your meal.
