Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

…with lots of cheese!

Prepare the kebab according to the package instructions and arrange it in a suitable baking dish. Reserve some of the cooking liquid in the pan. Cut the feta cheese into approximately 1×1 cm cubes. Peel the onions and slice them into rings, fry them in the same pan until golden brown, and then add the condensed milk. The amount depends on the desired amount of sauce. Dissolve the processed cheese in it. When the condensed milk begins to steam, add the feta cheese cubes and simmer for about 2 minutes. Season with beef broth, salt if desired, and plenty of pepper. Spread it over the contents of the baking dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in the oven at 170°-190° for about 30-40 minutes. When the cheese on the casserole has turned a golden yellow color, it is ready. Serve with herb baguette or warm flatbread, mixed salad, and rice. Tip: If you want to save calories, you can use light versions of the dairy products. Variations: Add fresh herbs to the cheese mixture (parsley, etc.) or add frozen vegetables, e.g. corn, peas or carrot slices to the cheese mixture in the pan and stir briefly.
