Spread the love

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 10 rolls
  • 4 large onions, sliced
  • 4 packs of salmon substitute (Alaska pollock)
  • 10 slice(s) of gherkin(s) or more if needed
  • 2 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Salmon rolls

Peel the onions 1-2 hours before preparation and slice into rings. Sprinkle with salt, mix well, and let stand in a cool place. Cut the rolls in half. Cover the bottom of each roll with 2-3 slices of salmon substitute and distribute the onion rings evenly over the salmon. Then place the cucumber slices on top of the onions. Place the top half of the roll on top and eat fresh. Tip: This also works well with Bismarck herring instead of the salmon substitute.
