Serbian bean soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 piece(s) bacon as required, lean
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 small can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 200 ml tomato(s), pureed
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 cans of white beans soup
  • ½ liter of water
  • 2 sausages (Mettenden)
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Brown the minced meat in oil. Cut the mettenden sausages into strips. Dice the bacon. Fry the minced meat together with the diced onion, tomato paste, garlic, and pureed tomatoes until thoroughly cooked. Then add the two cans of bean soup and slowly add the water. Bring everything to a boil. Let it simmer for 30 minutes and serve hot.
