Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 cans of tomatoes, peeled, approx. 800 g
- 1 tsp, heaped pepper
- 2 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tsp garlic, dried
- 1 tsp onion(s), dried
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 tsp cane sugar
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp fenugreek, ground
- 2 tsp cumin powder
- 100 ml vinegar
- 4 red chili peppers, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
makes approx. 1.75 liters
Chop the chilies. Combine all ingredients in a pot and simmer for at least 1 hour. Puree thoroughly with a hand blender and simmer for another 20 minutes. Bottle while still warm. Makes 1.75 liters. Keeps for a very long time.
