Kicky's Christmas dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 tsp cinnamon, (more if needed)
  • 1 tbsp honey (more if needed, or vanilla sugar)
  • 1 jar morello cherries
  • 250 g biscuits, speculatius, stollen, etc., crumbled
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Using leftovers or crumbled biscuits

Stir the quark until smooth (you may need to add a little milk, but be careful not to make it too thin, or you’ll need to add gelatine) and divide it in half. Drain the cherries and collect the juice. Color one half of the quark with the juice and then season with cinnamon and honey; season the other half with just cinnamon and honey. Mix the biscuit crumbs (or make fresh crumbs). First fill the dessert bowls with cherries, then layer the different quarks on top, then sprinkle with crumbs. Finish with the white quark and sprinkle with cocoa powder and a few final crumbs. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
