Kidney beans with rice and bacon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 cans of kidney beans
  • 4 onions
  • 500 g bacon
  • 150 g rice
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Sauté the peeled, roughly diced onions and diced bacon in a large, deep frying pan. Add the beans and cooked rice and heat through. Season with pepper and paprika to taste.
