Kidney Ragout
The perfect kidney ragout recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 6 Pc. Pig kidney fresh
- 300 g Onion
- 2 tbsp Margarine
- 500 ml Water
- Sauce thickener dark
- Salt
- Pepper
- Cut the kidneys, rinse and fry in a saucepan in the hot margarine until colorless. Cut the onions into quarter rings and fry them briefly.
- Season with salt and a little pepper, add water and simmer for 30 minutes over low heat. When the kidneys are done, season to taste and thicken the sauce with a sauce thickener.
Tip:
- Rice goes best with it.
