Kidney Ragout

The perfect kidney ragout recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 Pc. Pig kidney fresh
  • 300 g Onion
  • 2 tbsp Margarine
  • 500 ml Water
  • Sauce thickener dark
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Cut the kidneys, rinse and fry in a saucepan in the hot margarine until colorless. Cut the onions into quarter rings and fry them briefly.
  2. Season with salt and a little pepper, add water and simmer for 30 minutes over low heat. When the kidneys are done, season to taste and thicken the sauce with a sauce thickener.

Tip:

  1. Rice goes best with it.
