Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 melon(s) (Kiwano)
- 200 g yogurt
- 100 g ice cream (vanilla)
- Honey
- Lime juice

Dessert with horned melon
Halve the kiwano and scoop out the insides with a spoon. Discard the “strings” and remove only the small green pieces. Purée these with the yogurt using a hand blender, then pass through a sieve to remove any remaining seeds. Add vanilla ice cream and blend again. Season to taste with honey and/or lime juice. You can then serve the cream in the decorative kiwano shell halves. Caution: It is very runny. All instructions may vary slightly depending on the size of the fruit, so the vanilla flavor doesn’t overpower the flavor of the kiwano.
