Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 150 ml water
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp lemon zest, grated
- 130 ml lemon juice
- 1 lemon(s), untreated, sliced
- mineral water
- Ice, some cubes
- 4 kiwis
- 2 scoops of ice cream (strawberry ice cream or lemon sorbet)

Very refreshing kiwi smoothie, ideal for hot summer days
Bring the water, sugar, and grated lemon zest to a boil, simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from the heat and let cool. Pour in the lemon juice, cover, and let the lemon syrup steep in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Then pour into a jug, add ice cubes and lemon slices, and make a lemonade with the mineral water at a ratio of 1 part syrup to 3 parts water. Peel the kiwis, slice them, and blend them with 200 ml of the lemonade until smooth. Divide the mixture between 2 flat glasses and place a scoop of strawberry ice cream or lemon sorbet in the center of each. Very refreshing and vitamin-packed. Tastes especially good on hot summer days.
