Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g minced meat
  • 6 m.-large potatoes, waxy
  • 3 carrots
  • 4 kohlrabi with greens
  • ½ liter vegetable broth, instant
  • 200 g herb cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

delicious spring stew

Form the minced meat into very small balls and fry them in a non-stick frying pan until crispy and brown on all sides. Allow to cool slightly. Peel the potatoes and cut into fine cubes. Peel the carrots and cut into not too thick slices. Peel the kohlrabi, reserving the attractive green leaves, wash them, and cut into fine strips. Cook everything in the vegetable broth in a covered pot over medium heat for 20 minutes. Melt the herb cream cheese in the hot soup, then briefly heat the minced meat balls in the soup. Before serving, cut the kohlrabi greens into very fine strips and add them. Variation: Also tastes delicious without meat.
