Kohlrabi casserole for singles

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 m.-large kohlrabi
  • 3 m.-sized potatoes
  • 125 g minced meat
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • some cheese, grated, (Gouda)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

with kohlrabi, minced meat and potatoes

Peel the potatoes and kohlrabi, cut them into cubes, and cook them in plenty of salted water for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, brown the minced meat, season with salt and pepper, and add the tomato paste. Stir until the tomato paste is evenly distributed, then deglaze with a glass of water. Reduce, stirring occasionally, and season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Drain the kohlrabi and potatoes and place them in a casserole dish or other heatproof dish (I got a cute single-purpose casserole dish from my mom, which is perfect for the specified amount). Spread the minced meat over the top. Finally, sprinkle with grated Gouda cheese. Bake in a preheated oven (top/bottom heat approx. 200°C) for 20 minutes.
