Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 3 ½ liters of water
- 4 kohlrabi
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 carrots
- 100 g celeriac
- 5 tbsp rice
- 1 tbsp Fondor
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 2 tbsp oil
- ½ bunch parsley, finely chopped
- salt and pepper
- Sour cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Clean and peel the vegetables. Coarsely grate the kohlrabi, carrots, and celery. Finely chop the onion and fry in heated oil until golden brown. Add paprika and let it simmer for 1 minute. Bring 3.5 to 4 liters of water to a boil in a large pot. Add the fondor and fried onions (including the oil). When the water has reached boiling point, add the vegetables and cook for about 10 minutes. Then add the rice and cook for another 25 minutes. Finally, season with salt, pepper, and chopped parsley. Serve with sour cream.
