Kohlrabi vegetables with mustard sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large kohlrabi, or two small ones with a few nice leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp mustard, (Dijon mustard) coarse or fine
  • 1 cup cream or condensed milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the kohlrabi and cut into sticks. Heat the oil in a pan, add the sticks, and fry gently until cooked through but still firm to the bite. Mix the mustard with cream or condensed milk, pour over the kohlrabi, let it heat up, and stir everything lightly. Season with salt and pepper. Finely chop the leaves and sprinkle over the kohlrabi. Serve with potatoes.
