Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 kohlrabi, large
  • Water
  • butter
  • ½ cup cream
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • tarragon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and finely dice the kohlrabi. Fill a pot with plenty of water and add the vegetables. Add a little salt and a small knob of butter. Bring the vegetables to a boil. When the kohlrabi cubes still have a bite (test for doneness!), drain them in a sieve and let them drain well. Meanwhile, melt another knob of butter in the pot, add the drained kohlrabi cubes, and toss them in the butter. Pour in the cream and season to taste. Cook the kohlrabi cubes until tender. They should still have some bite. Goes well with roast pork and boiled potatoes.
