Broad beans as a side dish

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g broad beans (!)
  • 3 onions
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp marjoram
  • 1 tbsp savory leaves, chopped
  • 150 g yogurt or cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Boil the beans until soft. Finely chop the onions and sauté in the fat until translucent. Add the beans and sauté for about 10 minutes. Stir in the crème fraîche and let it reduce slightly. Season, then stir in the yogurt. Goes well with all types of plain cutlets (without breading).
